GATE

GATE (Green Transition through Federated, Open-Access Data Infrastructure) is a collaborative project that seeks to unlock the value of agricultural data by making it easier to discover, access, and combine information from multiple sources. The initiative is developing a shared digital infrastructure that connects existing datasets while allowing data owners to retain control over their information. By improving data interoperability and accessibility, GATE will support the development of innovative digital solutions, strengthen evidence-based decision-making, and contribute to a more sustainable agricultural sector.

The project is led by the Danish Technological Institute in partnership with Aarhus University and Styrelsen for Grøn Arealomlægning og Vandmiljø (SGAV).

Funding is provided by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
