International workshop on the revision of the UNECE Guidance Document on ammonia abatement
Guest researcher Alberto Sanz-Cobeña (from Technical University of Madrid) organizes the first meeting to work on the revision of the Ammonia Guidance Document of the United Nations Economic Commision for Europe (UNECE). The meeting is hosted by Land-CRAFT at Aarhus University and will be attended by 50 international participants.

Our guest researcher Alberto Sanz-Cobeña (from Technical University of Madrid) is the organizer of the first meeting to work on the revision of the Guidance Document for preventing and abating ammonia emissions from agricultural sources. The revision of the Guidance Document on ammonia abatement comes under the coordination of the Task Force on Reactive Nitrogen (TFRN) and its Expert Panel on Mitigation of Agricultural Nitrogen (EPMAN).
The Guidance Document that will be reviewed at this meeting is the key document for ammonia abatement at EU and international level and was published in 2014.
This work is under the umbrella of the Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution and the Gothenbourg Protocol and the revision on the Ammonia Guidance Document has been approved by the parties to the Air Convention in its work plan.
