Grand Opening of the Smart Field Project: Pioneering Sustainable Agriculture
The official launch of the SmartField Project marked an inspiring moment for innovation in agriculture, drawing researchers, students and stakeholders together to explore the future of data-driven farming.


On the 14th of May 2025, Aarhus University proudly hosted the official grand opening of the SmartField and the Supersite B test facility, a state of the art research infrastructure dedicated to advancing precision agriculture and Environmental sustainabilty.
The day began with Opening speeches given by:

Followed by a series of short presentations showcasing the projects objectives, design and expected impacts. At the event, participants had the opportunity to engage with project leads and explore cutting-edge emission reduction technologies and solutions, and discover smart data collection approaches on-site. Guests also had the opportunity to take a guided tour of SmartField.
