Would you like to work with us at Land-CRAFT?

Currently we are looking for three theme leaders (Tenure-track Assistant Professor / Associate Professor) in the fields of landscape biogeochemistry (AU), digital landscape analyses (AU), and soil biogeochemistry (UCPH).

  • The research focus of the successful candidate for the theme leader in landscape biogeochemistry at Aarhus University will be on the modeling of nutrient cycles of landscapes, thereby explicitly considering interactions between different ecosystems (e.g., forests, wetlands, lakes) and nutrient and water flows at terrestrial-aquatic interfaces. Please see the details and application process in the following link: https://international.au.dk/about/profile/vacant-positions/job/tenure-track-assistant-associate-professor-in-landscape-biogeochemistry

  • The research focus of the successful candidate for the theme leader in digital landscape analyses at Aarhus University will be on using remotely sensed data to understand, map, and model biosphere integrity as well as ecological and biogeochemical processes across natural and agricultural landscapes. Please see the details and application process in the following link: https://international.au.dk/about/profile/vacant-positions/job/tenure-track-assistant-associate-professor-in-remote-sensing-of-landscape-dynamics

  • The research focus of the successful candidate for the theme leader in soil biogeochemistry at University of Copenhagen will be on identifying and tracing nutrient cycles and transports in landscapes to better understand and represent C and N cycling and associated exchange of greenhouse gases between the land surface and atmosphere, and further analyzing how those are affected by land use, land management and changes in environmental conditions. Experimental work will specifically, but not only, include deployments of stable isotope analysis (Isoscape) and tracers, and work will combine field- and lab-scale experiments.
